About the Transaction
187 Parliament is a 108,000 sq.ft. mixed-use development located on Parliament Street just north of Queen Street East in the Corktown district of downtown Toronto. The development will be part of the transformation of the Corktown district and will be comprised of purpose built live-work rental units that will accommodate the growing demand for this tenure in the Toronto area as well as five floors of office space in response to the growing market demand in this node and the City of Toronto’s desire for more office space in the City. Downing Street acquired the property in April 2016 and the project is expected to be completed in Q4 of 2019. The equity offering for this project is $4 million of which NexusCrowd’s allocation is for a minimum of $500,000.
